Group Study Exchange Experiences Melbourne Weather, Tsunamis and Lanes









On Tuesday 5 April. our Rotary Club hosted the 5 team members from Santa Barbara who were here as part of the Rotary Vocational Exchange Program. In the morning we had a presentation and tour of the Bureau of Meterology's Forecasting Centre and then a trip to the Tsunami Warning Centre. It was great to see and talk to the people here who monitor the weather and seismic activity and issue alerts when needed.


Afterwards, we had a nice lunch followed by a lanes and arcades tour of Melbourne conducted by yours truly and then followed with a trip up to Melbourne's Eureka Skytower to see the city from above.
